VACANCIES ON THE COUNCIL

There are currently vacancies on Talybont on Usk Community Council

Our Community Council is a corporate body of eight local members. As the branch of government that is closest to the people we strive to reinforce the well-being of our current residents and future generations through open and honest communication.  We are commited to ensuring a safe, sustainable and peaceful community for the enjoyment of locals and visitors alike. We meet regularly and welcome hearing from you.
Your Next Community Council Meeting is
September 17th, 2023 at 7:00pm at Henderson Hall.
Everyone is welcome to attend.

In the heart of  the Bannau Brycheiniog National Park,  our constituency includes the farms, hamlets and villages of Aber, Buckland, Cross Oak, Llandetty, Llansantffraed, Pencelli, Talybont-on-Usk and Scethrog.
Our council stretches through breathtaking countryside, from the peaks of Allt yr Esgair in the the north, to Gwaun y Pynt in the south, Tor y Foel in the East and the Bryn and Waun Ridd in the west. The Monmouthshire and Brecon Canal, River Usk and Caerfanell meander through the valleys and the Talybont, Pentwyn nd Ponsticill Reservoirs provide a home for local wildlife. In our valleys and hills, the days are beautiful and the nights are magical.
